Vintage bike from 1993, the cannondale R700 650C has 650 wheels (smaller than the 700 for regular road bikes).
The wheels were smaller for more aggressivity and weight reduction. It was often used for triathlon or time trial competitions with specific drive posts.
Handmade frame in Cannondale 2.8 Series aluminum, the bike is very light, less than 10kg. The frame is life guaranteed.
The bike was transformed into a super fast city bike combining comfort, aggressivity and speed. Its nickname is “the city donkey”. With a 130mm long stem and a riser angle at 30° the driving position is adapted for city riders.
The groupset was replaced by sram MTB group set (2 x 8). The speed shifters are placed on the handlebar as well as the tektro brake levers.
The original shimano 105 crankset was kept.

Testing this fourios bike in Paris was a pleasant surprise. Shorter than a classic road bike, it helps you force your way into the traffic and its great responsivity helps you escape from any traffic trap.
