Cycles Barelli – Columbus Neuron

This bicycle form Cycles Barelli is an example of French constructor bike. It has a very elaborated painting job and it deserved a proper restauration.

Build with Columbus Neuron tubes, it is a stiff and light bicycle. The chromed details attest its high end category.

The groupset (exept the rear derailler) is Sach New Success and makes the bike even more special. The Sachs New Success group was build as a collaboration between the main europeean constructors. Brake levers were build by Campagnolo, the deraillers were Sachs and the breakes were made by Modolo and are the same as the famous Mavic 440. In fact Modolo used to build white mark composants for the main constructors of that time.
